Red Hot After Dark - Spring Fever !
Red Hot After Dark is proud to announce our strategic partnership with The Pennsylvania Burlesque Festival and Jim Thorpe Burlesque Limited (www.paburlesque.com) with our newest installment "Red Hot After Dark: Spring Fever!" Exclusively available at The Allentown Brew Works (www.thebrewworks.com).
The snow is melting, flowers are blooming, and the birds are chirping! You know that that means, spring is on its way! Come shake away your winter funk with an evening of eccentric, tantalizing, and jaw dropping burlesque entertainment.
Red Hot after dark welcomes back with open arms, local performers Bunny Bedford and Venus Mantrapp. We are also pleased to introduce for the first time to the Red Hot After Dark Stage, Lily Stitches, Scarlet Stepford and Vonka Romanov.
Spring Fever will be hosted by the brains behind the PA Burlesque Festival & Boolesque, the very funny and talented Madame Corsetiere.
Hosted By: Madame Corsetiere
Founder, executive producer, and hostess of the PA Burlesque Festival, Madame Corsetiere has been titillating audiences with her rich, glamorous custom corseted costumes and smooth yet wry delivery since 2009. She is the proprietress of Dragontown Corset Supply, working with high profile clients such as Cirque du Soleil and the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Burlesque By: Bunny Bedford
Bunny has been teasing audiences from Toronto to Las Vegas since 2011. Drawing on her theater training and experience, her acts are often as funny as they are sexy with emphasis on musicality! She has performed at various burlesque festivals, monthly shows and events such as art exhibit openings and cabaret dance programs. She's "The Diamond from Coal Country" hailing from the Pocono region of Northeast Pennsylvania. Bunny often performs in the Lehigh Valley area at Red Hot After Dark at the Allentown Brew Works Silk Lounge in addition to other area burlesque shows. In addition to burlesque, Bunny is an experienced art model posing for various classes, art events and with artists privately. Venus Mantrapp, the vivacious vixen,! A titillating combination of sass, humor and sex appeal, Venus Mantrapp has been working the crowd since 2010! She headlined the sold out BOOlesque 2013 Presented by Jim Thorpe Burlesque, Ltd., performed at the inaugural Fierce: International Queer Burlesque Festival in Columbus, Ohio in 2013 and is a regular performer at Red Hot After Dark at the Allentown Brew Works.
Burlesque By: Lily Stitches
Lily has been a member of the Tri-State area Burlesque scene for over 6 years. She was recently selected to perform as the closing act of The Main Event at The 2013 Great Burlesque Exposition in Boston. She has performed at many well known venues including: The Slipper Room, Webster Hall, Brick City Burlesque, Roxy N Dukes, Shampoo, The Bowery Poetry Club, Sideshows by the Seashore, Union Hall, AnimeNext, Anime Boston, Otakon, The Steampunk World's Fair & AnimeUSA. Specific shows/troupes include: The NJ Burlesque Showcase, The NY Pinup Club, Geek Girls Burlesque, Cosplay Burlesque, The White Elephant Burlesque Society, Wassabassco Burlesque, Hypergender, One Night Stand, The Burly-Q Comedy Revue, D20 Burlesque and Trash.
She has been showcased on/in Kotaku, Obvious Winner, Iheartchaos, The Daily Record Newspaper (cover story), and on G4 TV's Women of the Web 2. Lauded for her performances by the likes of Felicia Day and Edgar Wright, it's safe to say Lily is a unique burlesque performer with a wide range of fans.
Burlesque By: Scarlet Stepford
Scarlet Stepford began performing burlesque nearly four years ago when she met friend and fellow performer Lily Stitches. Stitches' enthusiasm for the art form fascinated Stepford, who was largely unfamiliar with its beauty and charm, and this began Stepford's journey through the process of self-education with the help and support of friends. She eventually took her first stage performance head-on at the New York Pinup Club at The Slipper Room, Manhattan, solidifying her desire to become a full-time performer.
Scarlet has since performed all over the Tri-State area, including Manhattan, Brooklyn, Long Island, and New Jersey. She has performed with Cosplay Burlesque, The NY Pinup Club, The NJ Burlesque Showcase, Epic Win Burlesque, Original Cyn, Sharkbite Sideshow, The Luvely Rae's One Night Stand and Trash at Webster Hall.
Burlesque By: Vonka Romanov
Vonka has been performing Burlesque for nearly two years with Ink & Paint. This Neon Nymph can be found cosplaying her favorite characters all over the East Coast. She plans to one day rule the Earth.
