Salsa Making Classes at El Centro de la Raza
El Centro de la Raza (The Center for People of All Races) offers tamale making classes and is expanding class offerings! Learn how to cook our favorite dishes, share in our culture, and meet new people all at the same time! Class fees benefit our Senior Nutrition & Wellness Program.
Below is a list of our current classes, but check back often as we will keep updating this list throughout the year.
Salsa Making Class:
Instructor Cameil takes you through the process of making hot, sweet, spicy and tangy salsas including a knife skills demonstration. She calls her salsas just plain deliciousness! You will also fry corn chips, plantains, and flour tortillas. Be prepared to taste what you create. We will have cold alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for you as well.
