Wiregrass Blues Fest 2014
The 2014 Wiregrass Blues Fest (WBF) honors the blues legend, Clarence Pine Top Smith, originally from Troy, AL. The main event will feature headliner Victor Wainwright, the renowned blues piano player, winner of the 2013 Blues Music "Pinetop Perkins Piano Player of the Year" Award, former members of the blues band, the Mutt Brothers, and performances by Blues Women - Debbie Bond, Shar Baby, and Rachel Edwards of the Alabama Blues Project. The main event will be held on May 3rd in the Yard at the Wiregrass Museum of Art. Gates open at 6:15 with music starting at 6:30. Headliner will go on after 8pm. Tickets are $15.
