WykD_Dave is a UK-based rope enthusiast, who now teaches and performs internationally accompanied by his partner Clover. He started exploring artistic rope 22 years ago and was autodidact for the first 17 years, until a lesson with rope professional Osada Steve changed his way of tying. Dave loves Japanese style rope work, and decided to dedicate himself to this. "It isn't about the rope, it's about the expression, the look in the eyes, the hopelessness, the agony".

ONE ROPE (Ichinawa): 04.19.14 from 1 PM to 3:30 PM PST
WHAT TO BRING: One rope (8M 26ft) and a body to tie.
REQUISITE SKILLS: Basic tying experience.
LEVEL: Any
DESCRIPTION: OneRope simply means 'a single rope' the use of a single rope can be a real stretch for many riggers. This class explores the possibilities of this excellent practice and play technique with one never ending rope.
TENSION: 04.19.14 from 4:30 PM to 7 PM PST
WHAT TO BRING: Rope and a body to tie.
REQUISITE SKILLS: Some tying experience.
LEVEL: Any
DESCRIPTION: People often prioritize complexity and 'impressive looking' bondage over feel and also tend to push forward with more complicated ties without the technique to support it. Control over tension and understanding its effect and importance is vital to helping develop better all round bondage.
ROPE CONTROL & MOVEMENT: 04.20.14 from 1 PM to 3:30 PM PST
WHAT TO BRING: Rope and a body to tie.
REQUISITE SKILLS: Good solid knowledge of at least some basic ties and a good knowledge of safety.
LEVEL: Any
DESCRIPTION: Control of rope and movement can transform any tying experience both for the rigger and the rigged. Controlling the rope is both easier and harder than you think. Movement, anticipation, memory and practice come together to make good rope control an automatic part of your tying.
UNTHINKING ROPE: 04.20.14 from 4:30 PM to 7 PM PST
WHAT TO BRING: Rope and a body to tie.
REQUISITE SKILLS: Some tying experience and good safety knowledge.
LEVEL: Any
DESCRIPTION: Warning! This class requires thinking! Practice, practice and more practice, knowing without knowing, tying without thinking, thinking about tying and more practice. Effective techniques for you to practice and help you to practice.
Class sales are limited to 12 couples to ensure individualized attention.
