Hot Rods 4 Heroes
Come have a Great Day on the Bay!
Thank you for your interest in our Second Annual Hot Rods 4 Heroes Car Show at the San Diego Waterfront Park & Promenade on Saturday, May 10, 2014. We're looking forward to a great day on the bay and we hopeto have you with us. Online pre-registration is closed, but we have a few spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The event is from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and the vehicles will be shown on North Harbor Drive in front of the San Diego County Administration Building.
Registration and staging will be in the south end of the Solar Turbines parking lot on Pacific Coast Highway between W. Hawthorn St. and Grape St. beginning at 7 am (see the map in the media slider above). Be sure to visit the registration table to sign your release and receive your vehicle identification slip and dash plaque. No vehicle will be allowed to enter the show area without the identification slip. After the Farmer's Market load-in is complete, we will move all vehicles into place beginning at 8:30 am. When the order for 'Oscar Mike' comes down, we will exit the staging area, turning right onto Pacific Coast Highway, turn right on W. Ash St. and then right again onto North Harbor Dr. All vehicles will be moved into the show location by 9:15 am. Vehicles will not be able to be parked in the show area after that time.
We know that this is an unusual procedure for a car show, but the constraints of the venue and this one time only event make it necessary and we hope that the beautiful surroundings and the festival event will make it all worth while.
