Gardening with Altitude Lecture 'Seed, Soil, Sun, Water: all you need to grow food in the west'
The event is sponsored by the Laramie County Master Gardeners and the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens. The goal is to educate the community about gardening in high altitude, windy and low water conditions.
April 26, 2014, 1:00-2:30PM 'Seed, Soil, Sun, Water: all you need to grow food in the west' with high altitude food growing teachers and sustainable greenhouse designers, Penn & Cord Parmenter
Penn & Cord Parmenter have been growing food at 8,120 feet in the Wet Mountains of south-central Colorado since 1992 and in addition to teaching and designing greenhouses, they are co-instructors for the Denver Botanic Gardens and consult extensively on the use of design and greenhouses at any elevation.
