The Comedy Womb Presents: Cathy Sorbo
On July 6th, from 8-10pm, The Comedy Womb Presents Cathy Sorbo at the Jewelbox Theatre, with special guests: Lindsey Leonard, Travis Watt, Scott Losse and Jen Seaman.
A phenomenal cast of local comedians headlined by the hilarious, Cathy Sorbo.
Cathy Sorbo
Cathy Sorbo has been performing for more than 20 years. She has performed comedy all over the world, but these days she is better known for her humor column which appears Saturdays in The Seattle P-I.
Cathy Sorbo is best known for her weekly quipps on NPR's nationally syndicated show, "Rewind" with host Bill Radke, but she is a brilliant standup comedian in her own right.
Cathy's credits also include national voiceover work for radio and television ads as well as performing at corporate events for clients ranging from Microsoft to the U.S. Army. She appeared on shows produced by HBO and Showtime, and developed a pilot with MTV. The U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen said of Cathy "Sorbo rips into her work with such humor and insight that her act appeals to just about everybody."
The Comedy Womb is a weekly open mic that focuses on getting female comedians into the forefront. The Comedy Womb Presents is a show that takes some of our favourite comics from the last three months and throws them together on the Jewelbox Theatre stage with a phenomenal headliner.
