Final Blast Explosive Family Fun Science Show

Join us Sunday, August 18, 2013 from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. for Explorit Science Center's Final Blast: Family Fun Science Show fundraiser and celebrate the joy of discovery, exploration and science in our end of summer season Family Exploration. Bring your picnic blanket and some munchies and settle in for a spectacular demonstration of chemical genius by UCD faculty from 3:45 to 4:15 and again from 4:45 to 5:15. See a bit of outer space up close with the Nasa Lunar Sample Disk and create and experiment with art in our Beautiful World: Science and Art exhibition throughout the event. Take one of Peter Wagner's Whymcycles for a spin around the park and cool off with a smoothie from Jamba Juice. 20% of smoothie proceeds during the Final Blast event go to Explorit.
