Resurrection or the Terrible Repercussions of Making Tangible the Intangible
Two years after graduating from college, Juan shows up at the doorstep of his could-have-been soul mate Lisa, only to find her barely recognizable and involved with Neil, the fiercely territorial, corrosive frontman of a death metal band who's determined to run Juan out. What begins as a friendly, weekend visit quickly spirals into a dark, twisted, life-changing series of events where each individual must ask at what point they can no longer affect change.

JONATHAN FITTS (Playwright) is an award-winning playwright, composer and director. His play WHITE OR THE MUSKOX PLAY (2012 Kennedy Center National Short Play Award Winner, 2012 O'Neill National Playwrights Conference Finalist) will be published by Applause Books this summer. His play LOBOTOMOBILE was a finalist for the 2013 terraNOVA Groundbreakers Playwrights Group and was recently workshopped at The Public Theater. He is currently working with the Woodshed Collective on an upcoming immersive play. His plays have been produced and read across the country. As a composer, Jon wrote the music for the American premiere of David Edgar's THE SHAPE OF THE TABLE at Burning Coal Theatre Company, the world premiere of E. Bert Wallace's QUEM QUERITIS, and a regionally acclaimed production of Gao Xingjian's THE OTHER SHORE. He also co-composed the music for Burning Coal Theatre Company's adaptation of Thomas Hardy's JUDE THE OBSCURE, PARTS 1 & 2. Jon is a graduating MFA Candidate in Dramatic Writing at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and a company member with Burning Coal Theatre Company. www.jonathanfitts.wordpress.com.
LEE AUGUST PRALEY (Director) is an award-winning Brooklyn based director, writer and producer. His films include "NOTHING IS FUN ANYMORE", "HELLO, OLD FRIEND", "A MATTER OF TASTE" and "WHAT COLOR IS YOUR TUESDAY?" Praley's work in theatre has been seen across the world in cities including Chicago, Washington, DC, New York and Tbilisi, Georgia. His play "EUPHORIA: SOMETHING BETTER IS COMING" had its world Premiere at the Rustavelli Theatre in Georgia as a co-production with the US State Department. Most recently, his play "THANKSGIVING AT CHEKOV'S" was a finalist in the highly competitive Eugene O'Neill National Playwright's Conference. As a stage actor he has worked with Forum Theatre (bobrauschenbergamerica), No Rules (YOU'RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN), dog & pony DC (COURAGE) in Washington, DC. For the theatre he has directed "BAT BOY," "IS THERE LIFE AFTER HIGH SCHOOL," "IT'S A SMALL WORLD," and "MACBETH." Praley is a 2013 MFA Candidate in Dramatic Writing at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
ADAM JONAS SEGALLER (Neil) was recently seen worldwide as Andrew Carnegie on History's hit miniseries, "The Men Who Built America." His credits include: Brutus, Julius Caesar, The American Shakespeare Center; Albert Einstein, Einstein's Dreams, Spooky Action DC; Christopher Marlowe, Kit Marlowe, Rorschach DC; Lovborg, Hedda Gabler, and Lopakhin, The Cherry Orchard, Washington Shakespeare Company; and Sir Walter Raleigh, The Lost Colony. He is a company member at Radio Theatre NYC, with whom he has performed The Alfred Hitchock Festival and The Haunting of St. Marks Place.
MICHELLE POLERA (Lisa) hails from the Northern, VA/DC area and is pleased to finally call herself a New Yorker. Favorite credits include Sarah Norman (Children of a Lesser God), Viola (Twelfth Night), and Callie (Stop Kiss). She was most recently found co-producing, directing, and starring in HeartStop Theater's Almost, Maine and frequently works with NYU's Graduate Writing Program. She is so excited to have the opportunity to work on this show with so many talented artists.
VICTOR RIVERA (Juan) is a recent graduate of Appalachian State University with his Bachelors of Arts in Theatre Arts: Performance concentration, Summa Cum Laude. His credits include: Dr. Einstein, Arsenic and Old Lace, and Ensemble, Shipwrecked: An Entertainment, ASU Theatre and Dance: Valborg Stage; John Dodge, Middletown, and Hamlet, 15 Minute Hamlet, I.G. Greer Studio Theatre; Carl, Lobotomobile, and John Williamson, Glengarry Glen Ross, In/Visible Theatre NC; and Adam, The Complete History of America (abridged), and Renfield, Dracula, Ensemble Stage.
