Rising to the Summit!
A benefit performance for the Global Youth Peace Summit (uniting refugee, immigrant, American and International youth, ages 13-18, for a week devoted to heart-centered dialogue, healing, cultural exchange, authentic expression and exploration of self and world where cultural, religious and personal differences are celebrated and our humanity is acknowledged as the thread that unites us all.) Nicholas, Glover and Wray, with Barbara Borden on drum set, Dick Bright on violin and Joy Perrin on bass, will be delighting with their extraordinary harmonies and Terry Garthwaite, along with her brother David as well as Barbara Borden on percussion and Nicholas, Glover and Wray on back-up harmonies, will be rocking the second set. Terry and David started the legendary rock band Joy of Cooking in the 6o's and are still going strong. Other guests will be Claire Peaslee, naturalist and improvisor, and Joyce Koufmann and Zsuzsanna welcoming everyone on drums. This will be a vibrant community event in service of our Youth!
