Gold Star Evening

Dinner/Dance at the Holiday Inn on Broadway in Saratoga. DJ -Mr. Brian Pincheon. Event is from 5pm to 11pm. Meal choices are Chicken Cordon Bleu and Steak with mushroom sauce. Fundraiser will support five different local organizations. Operation Adopt a Soldier-In operation since 2003 supporting our heroes, their families and veterans. They adopt military families in need during the holidays. Their portion of the proceeds will be allocated toward their Holiday Hero Fund. Uncle Shawns Hugs-In memory of Shaun Martin of Delmar who was killed in action in Iraq in 2007. The group purchases and makes no sew fleece blankets called "Uncle Shawns Hugs" to pass out to area children in need , The Capt. John J. McKenna Military Courtesy Room at Albany Airport-In memory of Capt. John J. McKenna of Clifton Park who was killed in Iraq in 2007- has served over 14,000 military personnel since it's opening, Ben Osborn Memorial Fund-In memory of Ben Osborn of Lake George killed in action in Afghanistan in 2010- "Give Kids a Lift"- non-profit 501(c)(3) organization aimed to support youth with "NEED", Taylors Heroes-In memory of Taylor Miller from Saratoga is a non-profit organization that provides fitness and nutrition programs to children who want to lead a more active and healthy lifestyle.
