Convention Line-up:

Friday: (co-ed) Mass at 6 PM with Archbishop Sartain, Our Lady of Good Counsel Awards presentations by the Abp., Banquet, Guest Speaker Fr. Jacob Maurer, Dessert Auction, Scramble Raffle and Gift Basket Raffle.

Saturday: Adoration at 8 AM with the Divine Mercy Chaplet, Guest Speakers - Kari Curran, Jennifer Sokol and others. Lunch. Elections, Prayer Service and Installation of new Officers.

Saturday night: (co-ed) Dinner, Gift Basket Raffle winners announced, Arsenic & Old Lace play at the Lakewood Playhouse.

Sunday AM - Seafarer Box assembly in Squier Hall during Coffee & Donuts.

Dear Sisters in Christ,

I invite you to be CALLED to come to the annual Convention of the Seattle Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women on October 11 & 12, 2013. Our theme this year is: The Voice of Catholic Women, Calling All Home. It is important to remember that God is the VOICE we HEAR so we can be his VOICE. 1 Samuel 3:10 The Lord called Samuel. Then Samuel said, Speak Lord, for your servant is listening." Our theme image is the "Faith Boat" coming to our "Home Church." In Matthew 14:29,we read"Come," He said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus." Like Peter, sometimes we must step out of the safety of the boat, to VOICE our faith according to our mission of Spirituality, Service, and Leadership. At convention, we will explore the two sides of VOICE, listening & speaking.
We will also celebrate and honor amazing women in our Archdiocese with the Our Lady of Good Counsel Awards which will be presented by the Archbishop on Friday night.

To book lodging, contact Holiday Inn Express (253-582-7000), ask for ACCW rate and record confirmation.

Registration late fee of $20 will apply after September 20th. Hotel convention rates expire after this date, as well.
