The Bard and the Balladeer
Extraordinary Bay Area performing poet Gary Turchin joins award-winning songwriter Ken Risling in an unusual collaborative concert. Lifelong friends who built their body of creative work out of sight from each other, they have now reconnected as artists, and decided to unleash their talents together in a special series of programs they call: "The Bard and The Balladeer".
Nearly 40 years ago, these two men embarked on unique journeys, each filled with lurking hazards, unexpected twists, and wondrous sights. Imagine their surprise to reach this point in the road and find the other standing there.
Come witness the results. Join us for a unique evening of original spoken word and song.
