Toms River Autism Fundraiser to help a local family in need. Hosted by Jacqueline Laurita of The Real Housewives of New Jersey
Embellish Event Planning & Design and Angela Christou, Independent Representative, Arbonne International, have partnered with Jacqueline Laurita of The Real Housewives of New Jersey to raise monies for a Toms River family in need.
Join us on June 8, 2013 from 6-9 pm at Shogun Legacy in Toms River to dine, shop and support this family. Jacqueline Laurita and her husband, Chris, will be in attendance.
Patio Tickets - $50 Includes dinner buffet/cash bar/live music
Dinner Tickets - $75 Choice of 3 preselected dinners & swag bag
VIP Tickets - $125 "Dinner with Jacqueline"
Includes private dining with Jacqueline & Chris Laurita, complimentary wine, swag bag and photo opportunity
About the Family:
Karen is a single mom with 3 children - 21 year old Anthony, Jonathan, her 14 yr. old with autism, and Drea, her adopted 10 yr. old who is blind and in a wheelchair due to spastic quadriplegia since she was about a year old.
The family was impacted by Superstorm Sandy. Their house is still standing, but it had to be gutted because of mold and contamination, and everything inside was destroyed. She is currently awaiting a handicap accessible FEMA trailer.
Currently, ALL members of this tiny family are living in separate housing, and the impact to the kids is definitely not a positive one. The child with autism is especially confused about why he is where he is, and why he can't go back to his home and routine.
