Arabs at UW's Arab Festival
Friday the 31st of May will be a magical night of Arabic music, dance, food, poetry and culture. Ever enjoyed Arabic food or music? Ever felt curious about Arab culture? Join us at 7 PM at the Walker Ames room in Kane hall for a wonderful night of Oud music, dabke dancing, spoken word performances, delicious food and awesome company!
We are proud to feature Stephen Elaimy from the House of Tarab musical group, the Jafra dabke team dancers, Waseem Sbait on the tabla, and Jamil Suleman with a spoken word performance. Our wonderful caterers will be Blue Olive restaurant, and of course, we will be around to socialize and enjoy this night with you!
Come one, come all, and let's enjoy the magic of Arabic culture!
