The Wellspring Project presents: ROOTED
The Wellspring Project is a collective of dancers and artists who have partnered together to give back to the global community.
The first destination is to travel to Uganda, Africa this summer! We plan to use our abilities of dancing and teaching to reach out to all of the orphans and families affected from the trauma of Joseph Kony's Lord's Resistance Army and help them undergo the healing process through the art of dance. We will also make ourselves available to anything else that comes along our way such as supplying and ministering in the churches and schools, reconstructing homes and town buildings, and most of all, showing unconditional love and undivided attention by spending quality time with each individual in our path.
Our goal is to showcase Seattle's unique talents in a benefit show to raise funds to bring to Africa to make our visions for the people come alive. The show will contain various entertainment acts ranging from hip hop, salsa, and African dancing to musical theatre, vocal artists, and more.
