CMG Short Film Festival Program Four: Lunch
WHAT NOURISHES US, REALLY? IT'S NOT JUST FOOD, THOUGH MANY OF THE FILMS IN THIS PROGRAM DO HAVE FOOD AS A COMMON THREAD. THIS GROUP IS ABOUT NOURISHMENT IN A DEEPER SENSE, WHETHER IT'S A BEAUTIFUL DANCER'S CRAVING FOR HER HOMELAND; A BOY DESPERATE FOR THE KEY TO HIS OWN INNER CONFLICT; A SLEAZY POL WHOSE SECRET LIFE THREATENS TO SPOIL HIS ATTEMPT TO SELL HIS HOUSE; A TEEN HOUNDED TO DEATH BY BULLIES WHO STEAL MORE THAN JUST HIS LUNCH MONEY; AN UNDEAD YOUTH STILL TRYING TO FIND HIMSELF; OR A COUPLE BREAKING UP AT THE LOCAL DINER. AND IN THE ACCLAIMED WEB SERIES HUSBANDS, A NEWLYWED COUPLE SHOWS WHAT LIFE MIGHT BE LIKE IN A WORLD OF MARRIAGE EQUALITY.
