A group of students traveling to a music festival arrive at the Solid Rock Cafe with several problems;
a lead singer with a sore throat, a drummer without his drums, and a broken down van. The staff at the Solid Rock Cafe help to renew the bands' spirits with a few "recipes" from Chef Bubba's book which speak of God's constant presence and help in our lives.

Mark's gospel springs into our world as the characters from his story take on modern form and tell of Jesus' miracles, teaching and victory over sin and death. Twenty-one characters in all reproduce Mark's narrative in our language, bringing the person of Jesus into startling focus for us, enabling us to experience the ministry, passion and resurrection of Christ in a fresh and exciting way.
