The Feast of Saint Arnold
Hi, I'm Saint Arnold, Patron Saint of Beer! Join me and my Chapel of Our Saviour Episcopal friends at their very cool place (it's like a park) in the Colorado Springs, Broadmoor neighborhood on Saturday, June 15. It will be a festival of the Colorado's lifestyle and culture, which course includes Colorado's fine craft beer, wine and much more.
Admission fee includes tastings from more twenty Colorado breweries, wineries, and distillers who will serve samples of their products. Continous live music, tasting seminars, tours of the century old estate (if these walls could talk), Kid's Zone and locally prepared artisan food will complement the day's activities. A 5K/10K Family Walk (Volksmarch) through the Broadmoor neighborhood, sponsored by The Colorado Springs Walking Club, will begin the Feast day morning. The proceeds will benefit Fort Carson's soldiers and families.
Guests are invited to comes as families. Planned children's activities and events will be on-going throughout the day. There will also be a special demonstrations and exhibits areas for all.
Located on the historic grounds of the Chapel of Our Saviour Episcopal Church in Colorado Springs, CO, this beautiful former estate was built in the 1920's and is in the heart of the Broadmoor area. With Cheyenne Mountain as a backdrop, the private wooded grounds encompass two city blocks and are surrounded by brick walls and iron gates. A Spectacular Setting!
