NOAA Open House - Ocean Engineering Tour - 2:00pm
On June 14th the NOAA Western Regional Center's Campus north of Magnuson Park will open it's doors to the public.
Come explore what NOAA Knows!
The National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration in Seattle will have tours, interactive exhibits, films, and more!
Engineering and Diving Tour
Machine shop where NOAA engineers innovate ocean technology to gather important oceanographic and atmospheric data.
NOAA Dive Center, where scientists get certified to conduct science diving
Physical considerations: This is an all walking tour into working warehouses and will require standing on concrete for entire length of tour.
Tour times: Every half hour from 12:30-6:00 pm (tours are on a first come basis except those beginning on the hour can be reserved). NOTE: If you reserve a spot please check in 15 minutes prior to your tour time. If you do not show up 15 minutes prior to your tour time your spot will be given to someone else.
Maximum number of people per tour: 20
Tour Length: 1 hour
