The King of the Kosher Grocers by Joe Minjares
Marshall Hambro, veteran Twin Cities' stage, film, voiceover actor and producer, will reprise the role of Isadore "Izzie" Silvers, which he performed in 2003 in Saint Paul. Marshall is also currently a member of the Lowry Lab and Theater NOW in Saint Paul. He performed in The Park Theater Company's (TPTC) production of "Tales of Woe: Edgar Allan Poe" (2009), and has served on the Board.
Director Jerry Wilson is an author and actor. He wrote the original draft of "The Illusionist: Shakespeare Reveals All" in 2011 and performed it at The Hopkins Center for the Arts in July 2011. He has authored and coauthored several publications including: "Breathless: The Adventures of a Gymnast" (1999); "Treasure Hunt" (2000); "Blue" (2003); "The Power of Speech" (2010) and "The Red Mark" (2012). He received his Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications from the University of Minnesota and his Master of Arts in Business Communications from the University of St. Thomas. While at the University of Minnesota, he was involved with the Rarig Center's Department of Theatre Arts & Dance. Since 1998, he has been the principal partner of Verona Publishing a St. Louis Park online publishing company. His acting and stage credits include local productions of "Romeo and Juliet," "The Tragic History of Doctor Faustus," "The Life of King Henry the Fifth," "Don Brown's Body," "Working for the Man Upstairs," "Once Upon a Kingdom," "You Can't Take It with You," and "The Skin of Our Teeth." Jerry has performed excerpts from his original works at TPTC's Community Talent Show in 2011 and 2012.
