Returning to Bakersfield after sold out performances last summer with her band, Emily Danger, EMILY NICHOLAS will be dazzling her hometown audience with a new songbook of revised standards, theater favorites, original music, special requests and surprise guests!
From opera and cabaret to rock and roll, Emily continues to astound audiences in New York with her vocal range and dynamic stage presence. Her band, Emily Danger, has received international critical acclaim for their EP "Paintings" and their "hauntingly beautiful" music video "Shed My Skin".

A conservatory trained opera singer, Emily Nicholas started singing at age 4 in musical productions throughout Bakersfield, later becoming one of ten to study at the prestigious Otterbein College for musical theater. After obtaining a Master's degree from Manhattan School of Music, Emily began singing professionally in theater, opera, cabaret and rock venues. With an over 4 octave vocal range, "...Nicholas' voice truly serves as an instrument in its own right and, not only does the listener get mesmerized in her singing, they don't want it to end." Emily Danger has been featured on WFMU radio, Brooklyn Independent Television, various international satellite radio stations, and has toured throughout the US and Canada.
