Living The Room unfolds on and amid the inanimate inhabitants found within our rooms. These pieces of furniture have inspired SubRosa to discuss these ubiquitous relationships with the objects in the somatic rhetoric that is so unique to their dance-voice. The intended smattering of diverse dance styles, soundscapes, and set pieces is used to elicit emotion from the audience by conveying a story-swirl that can be both elusive and familiar.
Local artists' creations will be displayed on the walls for viewing before, after, and in between the dancing.
This show is on a sliding scale. So pay what you can! We want you to be there no matter what!
