New, Old, and 'Other' Worlds: A chamber music recital
On Friday, May 31st at 8pm, please join us for a concert exploration of chamber music collaboration from different times and musical styles! Through these works, we'll look at the ways place, tradition, and artistic friendships have influenced music around the world.
The program will include:
Duets for violin and cello by Honegger and Handel-Halvorsen.
Duets by Reger and Mozart for two violins
The famous and beautiful "American" quartet of Antonin Dvorak.
Plus a few guest surprises at the end...
