IAN SPENCER BELL DANCE, May 21 and 22
Ian Spencer Bell Dance presents new work Tuesday, May 21 and Wednesday, May 22, at 7:30 p.m., at New York City Center, in Studio 5. Dancers Joshua Tuason, Lindsey Jones, Courtney Lopes, Stevie Oaks, and lighting designer Nicholas Houfek, join Bell in performance.
Bell has been dancing his own work since 2001, when he was awarded a grant from the Virginia Commission for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts for his choreography. Last May, Ian Spencer Bell Dance premiered "Socket" at New York City Center Studios and, in July, Bell danced a solo from it on the Inside/Out Stage at Jacob's Pillow.
