F-19A: Friday Night Owl Prowl May 17, 8:30 -- 10:30 PM
F-19B&C: Saturday Night Owl Prowl May 18, 9 -- 11 PM
Children 8 and older welcome

Explore the night with USFS biologists. Search for a variety of owls. Wear sturdy shoes and bring a flashlight. Your guides may include Stan Sovern, Peter Singleton, John Wagenknecht, Aja Woodrow, or others. Transportation provided in USFS vehicles;  hr driving time each way on gravel roads.

Meet in front of Leavenworth Ranger Station.
Group limit: Friday: 8 people may pre-register; 2 free walk-up slots. Saturday 18 people may pre-register; 2 free walk-up slots.

Our 11th Annual Leavenworth Spring Bird Fest will once again offer four fabulous days of field trips, hands-on discovery centers, speakers, mellow strolls, strenuous hikes, wildflower walks, birding by raft, pontoon boat or bus ... activities for all ages, all experience levels, and all fitness levels.

Featured this year are keynote speaker John Ruthven, often called "the 20th Century Audubon," Master Birder Idie Ulsh presenting "Feathered Architects," Sarvey Wildlife Center's Alive! Look a Bird in the Eye, bird banding with PSBO, a Songbird concert with Michael Carlos and friends, an artwalk, bilingual activities with Team Naturaleza, and more.
