viaVoice at the Firehouse
viaVoice, an internationally renowned vocal quartet, brings its unique take on a cappella to the Firehouse Performing Arts Center, with Undefined - the Western Washington University men's a cappella group - opening the show!
Doug, Joseph, Mark and Tom are singers based in the Pacific Northwest who are passionate about bringing life to barbershop music, a genre as uniquely American and historic as jazz and bluegrass. The fundamentals are based in 4-part harmony, and the quartet works with arrangers to create custom charts that infuse the traditional style with bits of '40s and '50s jazz, and '60s and '70s rock. The guys maintain an active performing and competing schedule, and, as the quartet, travel quite often - and they are very happy to have created a local event to go along with that schedule!
viaVoice will perform their favorite repertoire of the past few years, as well as the shiny new set that they are taking to international competition in July! The event concludes with a meet and greet with the singers. Reserve your tickets now!
