California Wine in the Redwoods; A Summer Solstice Twilight Discovery Walk
Join us in celebration of the longest day of the year!
Participate in an age-old tradition of celebrating midsummer on the soltice, marking the astronomical beginning of summer.
Savor two complimentary glasses of California Wine and nibble on local cheeses while strolling through our 100-year-old Redwood grove.
City Cellars will be offering a wine tasting and demonstrating their wine machine!
Explore the lush trails of woodland sorrel, wild ginger, and sword ferns. Stumble upon interpretation stations hidden among the maze of trails where naturalists will describe the ecological mysteries of these towering giants.
As the Honey Moon rises bringing on the shortest night of the year begins celebrate summer and the fertility of the earth.
In many cultures, the summer solstice was celebrated with bonfires in recognition of the sun's power, and in an attempt to curry good favor and fortune for the crops.
Check-in at the Main Gate, entrance at 9th and Lincoln Way, between 6:00-7:00PM
