2013 NW/MET Conference
The 2013 annual conference of the Northwest College & University Council for Management of Educational Technology (NW/MET) has the theme (inspired by Kalispell's mountain views) of "Peering from the Peak: Where is Educational Technology Heading Next?"
The NW/MET 2013 conference will provide two options for participation, an "unconference" and traditional conference sessions. "Lightning round" sessions made up of several five-minute presentations on a variety of topics will both seed thinking for the "un-conference" as well as be part of the traditional conference track.
The conference rate ($265 plus separate $35 annual NW/MET dues) includes lunch all three days, dinner at the Glacier Sun Winery on Wednesday, and a Thursday evening dinner cruise on Flathead Lake. Members bringing a guest to the conference can purchase a guest pass that provides access to only the Glacier Sun Winery dinner and the Flathead Lake dinner cruise for $115. Pay your conference fee on this site, and pay/renew your membership dues on the NW/MET web site, by June 18, 2013. See the Location page on the NW/MET web site for hotel booking information.
NW/MET 2013 is sure to continue our tradition of engagement with like-minded colleagues in a relaxed and enlightening atmosphere. Escape for a few days in Kalispell and enjoy "Peering from the Peak!"
