It is with great joy that Summit Pictures, LLC announces the premier screenings of "The Mountains Will Wait For You"-a tribute to Grace Hudowalski and her relationship with her beloved Adirondack Mountains and those who climbed them. Twenty years ago, Oregonian filmmaker and lifelong backpacker Fred Schwoebel, read an associated press article about Grace and her unique and inspiring relationship with climbers who were on their way to becoming 46ers. Fred wasted no time in traveling to New York to capture footage of Grace an other 46ers who helped tell this story. Carefully maintaining unedited footage over all the years, Fred never gave up his goal of finishing the documentary. Now Fred is returning to the Adirondacks to premier "The Mountains Will Wait For You" for those who might appreciate the portrayal of this legacy.
Each screening will consist of an introduction to the director Fred Schwoebel, the approximately 45 minute screening and a question and answer period.
