Consonare Chorale: For the Birds
Time to break out of the cage and sing! As the blush of spring appears, so too does nature's song. Soar from bough to bough with us on this bountiful flight of fancy. Take wing as we explore musical settings inspired by our feathered friends.
This season's closing concert, as you've come to enjoy, features the intimate side of Consonare Chorale in small ensembles and solos, as well as the full choir in the pristine setting of Stanford's "The Bluebird." Be swept away by Mendelssohn's "Die Nachtigall," bemused by the unexpected twists in "Alouette" and be tickled by mountain dulcimer, fiddle and bass inviting you to the barn dance "Turkeys & Badger's."
