Like A Storm

Coming off the success of their 2012 headline tour and SOLD OUT Architekt performance, Like A Storm will be returning to Architekt Music on Saturday, June 15th. Openers include Statik Silence and Digital Collapse.

Originally hailing from New Zealand, Like A Storm is a 4-piece alternative rock band that is comprised of Chris Brooks (vocals/guitar/programming/didgeridoo), Matt Brooks (vocals/guitar/programming), Kent Brooks (bass/vocals/programming) and Roye Robley (currently on drums). Having toured with big bands-- such as Creed, Shinedown, Puddle of Mudd, Skillet, Econoline Crush, and Alter Bridge--since 2009, Like A Storm continues to turn heads in cities throughout the U.S.

Overwhelming fan response to the band's high energy shows resulted in the band selling over 3,000 limited edition Tour EPs in their first month of touring. Also, their debut album, THE END OF THE BEGINNING produced by Mike Plotnikoff (Three Days Grace/My Chemical Romance/Buckcherry) and Igor Khoroshev (Yes)entered at #61 on Billboard's New Artist Charts from tour sales alone.

Like A Storm went from being virtually unknown in the U.S to playing alongside the top American rock bands at Rock On The Range and Rocklahoma in 2010. Also, their first single, "Chemical Infatuation", was added to radio stations all across the country and its music video--directed by David Yarovesky (Gwen Stefani, Rihanna, 50 Cent, T-Pain)--won the video grand prize four months in a row on Ourstage.com.

Taking a few weeks off from touring in 2010, Like A Storm returned to the studio with Mike Plotnikoff to record their Acoustic EP, which was sold exclusively on tour and/or can be pre-ordered on the band's website. The band then returned to the road and completed two very successful tours with one of their favorite bands, Alter Bridge. They played a few summer festivals in 2011, including Boonstock and PDX Rock Fest before taking time off to record their second album in Vancouver/Los Angeles.

Kicking off 2012 with a 7-week national Private Show Tour, the band rejoined Creed on tour in May and are set to release their second album ("Chaos Theory") in the fall. Like A Storm looks forward to promoting "Chaos Theory" on their own headlining tour this winter.
