Seven Keys to Baldpate
A writer goes to a deserted Inn, Baldpate Inn, in the Dead of winter. The Inn is closed, for the winter, and he is the only person staying at the Inn. He is looking for solitude to write a novel in 24 hours, on a bet he has with his friend and owner of the Inn.
During the 24 hours he has visitors, of all kinds, a murder, cops and all manner of interruptions. Is he going to win the bet? Will he survive the night? Will the murder be solved in time? Who is the Ghost?
