Raleigh Haunted Footsteps Ghost Tour
Since the beginning of recorded history, man has written of the afterlife and of those who have returned to walk the earth. North Carolina has a particularly rich history, and along with that comes the deep-rooted legend that goes hand-in-hand with historic places. Let us see if we can scare you with stories of ghosts, chilling sites, ghostly sightings, scandalous tales, haunted places, mysterious sightings of apparitions, strange and unusual tales of centuries past, legendary stories, folk lore and ghostly experiences stranger than reality, and supernatural intrigues of Raleigh. Our tales and legends are blended with bits of human interest and historical fact also making them educational for all ages.
Skeptic or believer, almost everyone enjoys a ghost story or an inexplicable tale of the unusual. And when that narrative has as its basis real people, actual places and recorded events, it becomes even more enjoyable. This tour has very spooky and eerie moments, so be prepared

The Raleigh Haunted Footsteps Ghost tour is a family friendly 1.5 mile walking tour designed for all ages (age 8 and up, please) of goblins seeking to explore downtown Raleigh's paranormal past. The tour combines local ghost stories, folklore and history as it takes guests to four dark and memorable sites including: Capitol Phantoms, the peg-legged ghost, Yarborough House ghosts and Raleigh City Cemetery. The tour wraps up with the gruesome experiences of centuries past at Moore's Square, one of Raleigh's two remaining parks established in 1792.
The tour begins at 7:30pm and ends at 9:00pm. Each guest must have a ticket purchased in advance from Brown Paper Tickets.
Please wear comfortable shoes and, most importantly, bring your camera in case you spot an orb.
If the forecast the evening of your tour includes stormy weather, lucky you! We call it "atmosphere." After all, spirit activity is said to heighten when the air is charged due to electrical storms nearby. For that reason, the tour runs rain or shine so:
