Pueblo Grande Museum Indian Market
Set amongst the historic beauty of the Pueblo Grande Museum and Archaeological Park, the Indian Market offers a unique experience. Guests will shop over 100 booths of authentic American Indian fine art and collectibles along an interpretive trail, taking them by the ancient platform mound, ballcourt, and replica Hohokam dwellings. This 2-day event also offers activities for children and adults, including exceptional music, dance performances, food truck cuisine, and everyones favorite, Indian fry bread.
Entertainment on the main stage this year will include:
Tony Duncan - World Champion Hoop Dancer, Native American Music Awards Artist of the Year
Violet Duncan - Storyteller
Indigenous Enterprise - Representing Many Tribes and Nations through Powwow Dancing
Kehewin Native Dance Theatre And many other performances of song and dance
Ki:him Activities: Pottery, shell necklaces, native food & seeds, printing, agave fiber weaving, breadwork, arrowhead knapping and atlatl, rock art, hoop dancing, storytelling, weaving, mask carving, gourd painting, piki bread making, corn grinding.
The Ira H. Hayes American Legion Post 84 of Sacaton will post and retire colors at the Indian Market.
