Meowntain Climb
Join Pet OverPopulation Prevention for our first annual Meowntain Climb!
We'll start at Trailhead Park in Richland with vendors and snacks, and then make our way up, up, up the Canyon Trail, with a quick stop to get your passport stamped. At the summit, there are opportunities for a scenic photo and another passport stamp. We'll head down on the Sagebrush Trail, stopping midway for another passport stamp.
Once you've finished the hike, drop your completed passport in the drawing for an opportunity to win one of our prize baskets!
The hike is 3.3 miles with 800+ feet of elevation gain. Dogs are welcome, but must be leashed and owners must pick up after them.
POPP is dedicated to reducing the overpopulation crisis in the Tri-Cities. While our adoption program (along with the efforts of other adoption agencies in the area) does a great job of finding families to love many homeless animals, the true solution lies in preventing so many homeless animals from being born.
With your support, we'll be able to expand access to low-cost spay/neuter surgeries in the community.
