Washed Away
(Documentary Short, 16 mins)
Synopsis: There are many days that Brandon Anderton cannot get out of bed. But on the days he can, he creates sand mosaic masterpieces only to see them enveloped by the tides hours later. He captures the scope and beauty of his art from a drone he flies overhead. In the hours while he is creating his art, his chronic pain fades into the background and sometimes vanishes all together, only to return with a vengeance after so many hours on his feet.
Director: Dana Nachman (Director / Writer / Producer) Nachmans 2015 film Batkid Begins was bought and distributed by Warner Brothers. Previously she wrote, directed and co-produced the documentaries Witch Hunt, which premiered at the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival; Love Hate Love, which premiered at the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival; and The Human Experiment, which screened at the Mill Valley and IDFA Film Festivals. She has won a number of awards over the course of her career, including three regional Emmy Awards, The Edward R. Murrow Award, and more than a dozen Jury and Audience Awards at film festivals. Nachmans films have also been seen on various television networks, including MSNBC, The Oprah Winfrey Network and PBS. In addition to her film work, Nachman is a guest journalism lecturer at Stanford University. Born and raised in New York, Nachman graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut with a dual degree in Middle Eastern Studies and International Relations. She went on to earn a Masters Degree from NYU in Broadcast Journalism. Batkid Begins premiered at the 2015 Slamdance Film Festival and has since been honored at film festivals across the country, winning Audience Awards for Best Documentary at the Cinequest, Omaha, Dallas, Ashland, and Rincón International Film Festivals. Additionally, it has been an official selection at the Bentonville and Chicago Critics Film Festivals and received the Heartland Film Truly Moving Picture Award and the Common Sense Media Seal and the Dove Foundation Seal.

(Narrative Short, 15 mins)
Synopsis: Ero defeats the town bullies and find an unexpected friendship.
Director: Peter Stanley-Ward is an award-winning filmmaker with several short films as well as a zero budget feature in his repertoire. In 2010 he co-founded Treehouse Digital, a Story Laboratory specialising in high concept family entertainment. Peter currently has several family feature films in development with Mighty Atom Entertainment and Ingenious Media, and a tween television series Tales From The Web with Executive Producer Tim Patterson (former Nickelodeon VP, Director of Programming) of Larkshead Media. Peter is represented by Jane Villiers at Sayle Screen.

Synopsis: I use an electric longboard to explore the space between walking and a wheelchair. Physical disabilities are as diverse as the people living with them. Shouldn't assistive devices be too?
Montage: Great Film Composers and the Piano
(Documentary Short, 26 mins)
Synopsis: Six legendary film composers each write an original piece for a classic pianist to perform.
Director: Forsyte has worked on over 50 features and television films starting out as an electrician and gaffer for Robert Altman and the Coen brothers. She has shot numerous feature films including Naked in New York, produced by Martin Scorcese. In 2009, she helmed Freeloaders a comedy produced by Adam Duritz of Counting Crows and directed by Dan Rosen.
