Russians, Gypsies and ...Sopranos
They have met at Duo Zingaresca's concert in February at Shaare Shamayim. They instantly liked each other and they decided to work together. Half a year later we are proud to present the results of their collaboration.
In this brand new program, you will hear the two fantastic sopranos who have been performing the Russian romance for years; Tatyana Rashkovskaya and Tatiana Halitskaya.
They will be accompanied by the only authentic Russian-Gypsy guitar duo in North America, the magnificent ZINGARESCA, consisting of Vadim Kolpakov, the virtuoso performer on the Russian seven-string guitar, and Oleg Timofeyev, the scholar of the Russian Guitar and the Russian-Romany performing tradition
