Tango del Cielo at Corpus Christi Church
"Tango del Cielo", a unique theatrical music and dance program featuring a fusion of many Latin styles including Argentine Tango, Flamenco, Spanish Classical, and Latin Jazz.
TANGO DEL CIELO (Tango of Heaven) - A musical concert-show and a national touring
company. Music features the dramatic and fiery Spanish compositions of De Falla, Albeniz, Rodrigo as well as the sensuous and passionate tangos of Astor Piazzolla. Special arrangements are by Grammy Award tango masters Jorge Calandrelli, Pablo Zeigler, Daniel Binelli. This dynamic concert-show with the added feature of Tango & Flamenco dance takes you on an adventure through time to the films of Rudolf Valentino & Nita Naldi, to when tango was first brought to the United States. With many musical and visual surprises, "Tango Del Cielo" is an engaging program for all ages!
