Amoskeag Studio presents Janet Robin
Join us as we welcome celebrated guitarist Janet Robin.
Janet has an amazing background, having been the guitar player for a number of well-known musicians, including Lindsey Buckingham's solo band, Meredith Brooks, Michelle Shocked, Air Supply, and many more. Guitar Player Magazine named her the top acoustic guitarist of 2017, and Guitar World Magazine named her as one of the "Top 10 Female Guitar players" in 2012. She's worked with some of the most amazing guitarists on the planet, including Tommy Emmanuel, Peppino D' Agostino, Kelly Joe Phelps and more.
Her latest CD, "Take Me as I Am," was produced by John Carter Cash (son of Johnny Cash and June Carter) and famed engineer Chuck Turner. Recorded at The Cash Cabin, Johnny's private recording studio in Nashville,it's an eclectic mix of Americana and rock/blues, with an emphasis on her masterful guitar playing.
