Come learn about the many issues around the world that need your help. 60% of your ticket sale goes to support Direct Relief and the other 40% ensures Girl, Awake! Project can continue to raise awareness and motive the public to create a better world. This is a show for everyone of all ages and genders. Local charities will be present at the production to make connections with and as guest speakers.

Girl, Awake! Is an original production written by Brook A. Bassett and produced by Luminary Initiative Project. Girl, Awake! utilizes a six girl ensemble to address social justice issues. Topics are presented utilizing many theatrical forms including spoken word poetry, dancing, monologues, video projections, singing, cheer-leading and more. Each topic is presented in a way that is accessible and is of interest to the public at large regardless of gender or age. Topics are backed by statistics, demographics, historical precedence, and personal experience. All subject matter is approached with grace and uses age-appropriate material for a family friendly environment and experience. 60% of ticket sales goes to support Direct Relief. Other local charities will be present at the show.
