Brush Up on Character
1 of 4 Playwriting Intensives offered to professional and new playwrights (or screenwriters) who want to brush up on Character (and later intensives on Venom & Surprise; and Diagnostics & Dramaturgy) in order to start new projects or move forward with what they are working on already.
Character is often taken for granted, especially in the theatre where a live actor will embody the character and bring them to life, but there is so much we as writers can do to enhance our characters and help give them that well-rounded 3-dimensionality that we love in our favorite characters from the shows we admire and the books we love. This intensive will help you with new tools for creating living fully-realized characters in a fun, inventive and inspiring afternoon!
