Basic Fire Investigation
Date: November 18-19, 2017 Time: 8:30am - 5:00pm Location: Jackson County Fire District 3 - Claflin Classroom, 8383 Agate Rd, White City, OR 97503
This Basic Fire Investigation Class is a 2-day (16 hour) OSFM sponsored course. This course is DPSST certified and is intended to cover the JPR's for fire prevention in the NFPA Fire Investigation Task Book. The first day will be spent in the classroom learning the foundational skills of fire investigation, while the second day will primarily be spent applying those newly developed skills practically. During this course, students working together in teams, will be tasked with investigating some actual fire scenes and then reporting their findings to the rest of the class. Students should come prepared to have fun, learn, and get your hands dirty. Snacks and water are provided. Bring your own lunch.
