Shane Theriot Guitar Clinic
Grammy-winning guitarist Shane Theriot (currently featured on the TV show 'Live From Daryl's House' and on tour with Hall and Oates -- and formerly with the Neville Brothers, Dr. John, Boz Scaggs, and many others) will discuss his approaches to rhythm guitar, New Orleans Funk styles, his personal soloing concepts, being versatile on stage and studio, how he works with the various artists on 'Live From Daryl's House' and much more! He will also be playing some tunes from a few of his solo records -- including the most recent, 'Still Motion.'

Shane Theriot (pronounced "Terry-O") is a guitarist, composer and Grammy award- winning producer from New Orleans, LA.
His versatility in both the studio and on stage has found performing with a huge variety of artists in virtually all styles of music. He joined the renowned Neville Brothers at age 25, touring and performing internationally as a member for eight years, all while continuing to work and record with many other artists.
In 2015 Theriot won his first Grammy for his work as Producer on Cajun legend Jo-El Sonniers landmark record 'The Legacy.'
As a much sought after sideman and studio musician Shane has recorded and or performed with, The Neville Brothers, Willie Nelson, Rickie Lee Jones, Sammy Hagar, Ben Folds, Dr. John, Allen Toussaint, Jewel, Beyonce, Hall and Oates, Boz Scaggs, LeAnn Rimes, Larry Carlton, Jewel, Branford Marsalis, Madeleine Peyroux, Amos Lee, and Little Feat, and many others as well.
He has released three solo albums: 'Hwy 90,' 'The Grease Factor,' and 'Dirty Power' -- featuring world-renowned musicians Victor Wooten, Jim Keltner, Richie Hayward, and Sonny Landreth. His latest solo record features New Orleans greats Johnny Vidacovich and James Singleton, as well as NYC heavyweights.
Shane's native Louisiana sound can currently be heard on the popular TV show 'Live From Daryl's House' on Palladia/VH1 -- featuring Daryl Hall -- in which Shane serves as Music Director/Guitarist. He can also be heard live, on tour, with Daryl Hall and John Oates (Hall and Oates).
