Emergency Beer Festival
Join us Friday September 8th at the Boothbay Craft Brewery from 1pm to 5pm while we celebrate our Firemen with live music by GoldenOak preforming with Sonic Steve's "Jammbulance". We will be premiering our Premium Pilsner, "Engine No. 2" paired with BBQ by Fahranheit 225, a Maine-based Memphis-style BBQ food truck. This event is open to all ages and children under 12 get in free! Tickets are $15 per person and $10 per fire fighter and immediate family. Complete with raffles and lawn games to keep the fun movin', this event is sure to rock you and your loved one's socks!
~ GoldenOak is a genre-blending Maine Folk band from the foothills of Western Maine. Originating in 2013, their woodsy, modern folk sound weaves together rich four-part harmonies and piercing melodic lines over a unique blend of cello, guitar, trumpet and cajón. Shifting effortlessly from energetic swing to dreamy ballad, they're as comforting as a campfire and as heart-shaken as a summer squall. www.goakdenoakband.com
~ Sonic Steve owns and operates a 1980 Chevy Ambulance that he converted into a traveling sound stage: the "Jammbulance". It is the only one of its kind equipped with speakers, subs, a pop tent, a stage, a shag carpet and disco balls. This rig lives in Burlington Vermont and plays shows all over northern New England with gigs from Vermont to Maine.
~ Fahranheit 225 smokes pork shoulder, ribs, local made sausage, chicken and turkey over Maine grown Oak, Maple, Cherry and Apple that [they] cut [them]selves. [Their] homemade sauces represent the eastern and western regions of North Carolina with a vinegar base as well as a South Carolina mustard and a tangy but sweeter Memphis sauce. All are gluten free.

The sunshine, music, beer, food and lawn games and raffles are all for you and your family to create a wicked nice experience while the proceeds go to our local Fire Department to help ensure a long and well-provided for Fire Fighting program. Must be 21+ to purchase alcohol, please have your ID ready.
