Jamey Aebersold Improvisation Clinic - 10th Annual Woodstock Jazz Festival

Jazz on the Square is honored to host Jamey Aebersold as our featured clinician in the 10th annual Woodstock Jazz Festival! Aebersold brings his combo to help illustrate elements of jazz improvisation and jazz performance.

Topics to include:
-How to play tunes
-How to play what you hear in your mind
-How and what to practice
-How to use several of the play-a-long sets and why we use them.
-How to use, and the importance of, scales and chords in building a solo.
-And more

The clinic will begin at 4:30pm in Stage Left Cafe.
Doors open at 4:00pm. Standby line attendees will be allowed in once remaining capacity is known.

***Attendance of the clinic does not grant admission to the evening's concert.***
