FINLEY'S "ROYAL" BRUNCH BENEFIT
Recently, I was notified about Finley, a 4 year old little girl who was diagnosed with leukemia in August of 2016. As soon as I heard what she was going through, I knew we had to help this beautiful little girl and her family!! Finley lives at home in Mifflinburg, with her mom Casey, her dad Colby, her 2 year old brother Hudson, and their dog Bella. Mom Casey is also expecting a 3rd child in a few months.
I got in touch with mom Casey, and hearing all about Finleys battle just melted my heart. Her mom also shared with me Finleys love of the Disney princesses, especially Princess Elsa, the princess of the Disney movie Frozen. Casey also said that Finley wants her hair to look like Elsas once it grows back from the chemotherapy. Hearing all of this made me realize we needed to do something extra special for this brave princess!!
After weeks of thinking about this, I decided we would have a Royal brunch benefit, complete with princesses and princes!!! Once I shared this idea with Mom Casey, we planned a visit with Finley before the big event! My 16 year old daughter Alexys, came up with the idea of taking a princess with us to our anticipated visit!! So, we took along my friend Elsa, and what a time we had!! Finley was a little shy at first, she just looked over Elsas gorgeous gown, and soon enough she warmed up to us, and her radiant smile was just so beautiful!!! Such a brave little princess herself!!! Her brother Hudson on the other hand, was not shy at all! He was showing us all of his toys, and was imitating a fireman. He was equally adorable.
The Royal brunch benefit will be held on Saturday, September 9,2017, at the Hummels Wharf Fire Co. Brunch will be served from 10-2, with princesses and princes visiting during this time. Please come out and help us make Finley feel like the Princess she is, and make it a day she will never forget!!
