Fired Up! A wood-fired oven cooking workshop
Slow Food Corvallis presents oven-builder, Kiko Denzer, and baker, Hannah Field, for a half-day workshop on cooking with a wood-fired oven. When participants arrive, the oven will be fired, and we'll learn how to bake bread and pizza. Kiko will give an overview of building a cob (mud) oven and discuss how to use it in an efficient manner. Pizza lunch cooked in the oven is included in the $20 ticket. Participation is limited to 15 people, so there will be lots of opportunities for questions and interaction. As the event is at Kiko and Hannah's home,you will be given the location of the event when you purchase your ticket.
