Deborah Wong (violin) and Efi Hackmey (piano) join Music DIrector Robert La Rue (cello) for the opening concert in Arion's 3rd season. Less familiar than the "Dumky", Dvorak's F Minor trio is his masterpiece in the genre. It is paired with Beethoven's sparkling, early G Major trio.

Deborah Wong is a member of the Atlantic String Quartet and the Hawthorne Piano Trio, performs with such groups as the Washington Square Contemporary Music Ensemble, Speculum, ISCM, and the New York New Music Ensemble, and is a member of the New York City Opera Orchestra.
Efi Hackmey performs internationally as a soloist and chamber musician. Recent local appearance have included Bargemusic, the Kosciusko Foundation, the Friends of Mozart series, and the Arion Chamber Music series.
Robert La Rue was first Prize winner of the National Society of Arts and Letters Cello Competition, whose jury chairman was Mstislav Rostropovich. A former member of the New England String Quartet and a current member of the New York City Opera Orchestra, he is the Music Director of the Arion Chamber Music series.
