Pentad-Plus promoted one of Chicago's best party and networking sets for African Americans for two decades in the 80s and 90s. The Windermere Hotel, Park West, Dingbats, The South Shore Cultural Center, and The Whole Grain Room were some of the places where the sets were held.
The best dressed and the great looking showed up every third Thursday (or Friday) after work and partied like it was 1999. This Pentad-Plus Experience recaptures much of the fun and joy that was had in those days when the dudes were smooth, cool, polite, and clean and the ladies were good-looking, refined, and well dressed with great coiffures.
